Luke Corbin was born of west European descent in 1986 and grew up along the south-east surf coast of Australia - from Melbourne to Anglesea and in-between. He undertook secondary education at Kardinia International College in Geelong. It was extreme.

Luke is studying for a Bachelor of Creative Arts at La Trobe University. His academic interests are still being refined, but include south-east Asian history, ethics, existentialism, Buddhism, cinema studies and narratology. These interests are germinating into a potential masters or PhD thesis.

Luke regularly travels to Asia, and enjoyed an extended working holiday in Vietnam for six months of 2008. His hobbies include listening to music, reading, writing, filmmaking, hiking, going to the cinema and riding motorcycles. He is passionate about great coffee, stimulating conversation and cheap food.
